Brighton

We welcome you to learn English in a city that is rich in culture. Brighton is a young cosmopolitan city with a population of 250,000. It is only an hour away from London and rivals the capital for its outstanding restaurants, pubs and bars, and its successful arts and theatre.

Brighton is the place to be when the weather warms up, with the most iconic beach, its majestic Regency squares and crescents, iconic Royal Pavilion and famous piers. Today Brighton is as well known for being a welcoming and diverse city with a passion for culture, creativity and sustainability as it is for its historic landmarks.

Brighton is very much a student-friendly city, with essentials such as taking a selfie on the iconic Brighton Palace Pier, being amazed by the Royal Pavilion or getting a bird’s-eye view from the i360.

Brighton also has excellent road and rail links to the rest of the country. There are regular, direct train services to London, Hastings and Portsmouth.

  • Full-board accommodation in a British host family, which provides an excellent opportunity to practice English and British culture.

  • 20 hours of English tuition per week, aiming to improve communication skills and all other language skills.

  • 2 project sessions with immersion activities for presentations at the end of the course.

  • A local bus pass for daily travel.

  • Afternoon activities and local visits: 2 sports sessions, visit to the iconic Lanes and Brighton pier, the magnificent Royal Pavilion, tour of football (Premier League club) stadium, swimming, evening disco and many local activities.

  • Full day excursions to: London and Hastings (two visits to be included), plus a half-day visit to Arundel.

  • Evening activities are to be arranged as requested by group leaders/teachers.

Course dates are flexible and can be arranged to suit your group.
